Charities
Charity and Community
Charity is exceptionally important to us at Beverley High School.

Wider Charity Work
We support a wide range of national and international charities each year, including:
- Children in Need
- Cancer Research UK
- Breast Cancer charities
- Comic Relief
We also organise three collections each year (one per term) for our local Beverley foodbank, helping to develop students’ sense of community awareness and gratitude.
In response to global crises, we have raised funds and donations for causes supporting:
- Ukraine
- Morocco
- Turkey and Syria
We also support the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC) annually through their national appeals.
Koeburg School Partnership (South Africa)
We are incredibly proud of our work supporting Koeburg School in South Africa.
Through a wide range of fundraising activities—including a large community raffle supported by over 70 local businesses—we raised enough money to fund the construction of a new brick dining shelter, built by local contractors.
Despite challenges along the way, the project was successfully completed. The space now stands as a lasting symbol of our partnership and is named:
“The Meeting Place of the Friends of Beverley High School.”
In addition, we sent a large shipment of stationery donated by our students to support the school.
