Educational Visits

“Once a year, go someplace you’ve never been before.”

At Beverley High School, we recognise the importance of educational visits and enrichment activities. The knowledge and experiences gained beyond the classroom help to consolidate and extend learning, while also supporting the development of personal and social skills.

Our vision—“inspiring individuals with a love of learning”—is reflected in our ambition to provide experiences that are positive, enjoyable, enriching and memorable.

We also offer a structured trips pathway to ensure all students benefit from a progression of experiences: in Year 7, students take part in a local visit; in Year 8, a national trip; and in Year 9, students are offered an international visit.

A selection of images can be found on the right-hand side, showcasing some of these experiences.

Feedback Y8 student - National trip - Royal Opera House, London

It felt crazy to be in the Royal opera house. It's so fancy in there! I think my favourite bit of the ballet is when all the dancers are together in the second half! Although I loved it all I could not believe that it was over two hours long it felt like 20 minutes. All the dancers were unbelievable. It was definitely a once in a lifetime opportunity and I would love to go see another to be honest I would love to see the same one again. It has definitely inspired me to work hard and follow my dreams It was a very memorable experience, and I am extremely grateful for it.
