This qualification is for learners who wish to develop applied knowledge and practical skills in child development. It is designed with both practical and theoretical elements, which will prepare students for further qualifications in Child Care, Health and Social Care, Psychology, Sociology and Biology.
It is advised that learners study a child under the age of 5 in order to get the best out of the activities. Learners may study a sibling/family member/family friend, or obtain permission from toddler/library/church groups, play schemes or other suitable setting, in order to complete the child study activities.
