Edie Mayes - National German Spelling Bee Champion 2018


After months of competition and learning of an incredible amount of words, Edie competed in the National Final for German Spelling at Cambridge University....and only went and won it! Edie beat off nearly 30,000 entrants to be crowned Champion for 2018. We are delighted that our comprehensive school continues to produce such excellence! Edie - you are an inspiration! Well done!
