Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant – Scale Point 11 - £17,007 (pro rata)

Temporary Post until August 2019   32½ hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only

Required as soon as possible, a caring and enthusiastic individual to join the Learning Support Team.  Teaching Assistants support pupils with a range of special educational needs and pupils who are reluctant to learn.

Temporary Post until August 2020  32½ hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only + two training days

Required as soon as possible to supervise classes during the absence of subject teachers.  Applicants should have:

  • Experience of working with young people
  • A good standard of education
  • A firm and fair approach
  • A commitment to supporting the school and its policies
  • A willingness to take part in relevant training

This post would provide excellent preparation for a future career in teaching.

Temporary Post until August 2020  17½ hours per week, (Monday to Friday, 10:30 – 14:00) term time only

We are looking to recruit a cleaner to join our cleaning team to be responsible for the cleaning of the school toilets. Experience in school cleaning is desirable though not essential as training will be given.
