Beverley High School and Beverley Grammar School established the Joint Sixth Form over thirty years ago and since then we have provided high quality post-16 education to thousands of young people. We are proud of the academic traditions of the Joint Sixth Form and of the successes of our sixth form students. The Beverley Joint Sixth frequently achieves the best A Level results in the area. Many of our students secure university places and go on to pursue very successful careers.
We hope that you will become one of our future students and be part of our continued success. Gillian Todd – Headteacher, Beverley Grammar School, Sharon Japp – Headteacher, Beverley High School

We have a strong team consisting of a Head of Sixth Form and a Pastoral Manager at each site and we work hard with our experienced team of outstanding tutors and teachers to ensure that every student is able to succeed and move onto the next stage of their education.
Underpinning all we do in the sixth form are the positive relationships we build between students, staff, parents and carers. We hope that this prospectus will give you a taste of life at Beverley Joint 6th; if you have any questions please do get in touch.

key statistics:
The Beverley Joint Sixth Form offers you so many opportunities both academic and social. The great variety of subjects offered allows you to follow your own ambitions in a convenient timetable. The added experience of being at two schools allows you to experience two different styles of teaching per subject which not only makes the subject itself more interesting but gives you extra support for when you need it. The enrichment options available give you both academic and non-academic achievements which you can carry with you for the rest of your life. Although the academic opportunities are amazing, one of the best parts of being at the sixth form is the brand new social life. Studying together in free periods, popping into the local cafes, making new friends, going out to parties and just in general having a whole load of laughs. We can’t remember having so much fun in a year before and we’ll have so much more before the year is out and we move on. Come to this sixth form and have two of the best years of your life!
