Y10-11

During years 10 and 11 students investigate the interaction of people and environments, exploring the opportunities and constraints that face people in different places as well as the importance of sustainable development. Students develop an understanding of globalisation and gain an appreciation of the dynamic nature of government by studying the constant changes that lead to different geographical patterns. The students are allowed the opportunity for personalised and independent learning as well as developing a clear overview of the world in the first part of the 21st century. Field work is undertaken to collect data for two questions which need to be explored as part of the examination requirements.
