18th November 2017 – ALBERT SELLERS YOUNG RINGERS EVENT

 

Please see below details of the Beverley & District young ringers event that we have arranged, it would be really good if you could join us for some or indeed all of the day, something for everyone, two rings of bells at St Marys and Beverley Minster (the 3rd heaviest ten bells in the world) the Mini Ring will be up which is always fun plus a tower and roof walk around the roof spaces of Beverley Minster, parents/guardians welcome and its all FREE!!!! it is also a great chance to meet and ring with other younger ringers from around the area.

 

18th November 2017 – ALBERT SELLERS YOUNG RINGERS EVENT

 

Meet at 10.45am - St Mary’s Beverley

  • Ringing from 11.00am to 12.00 noon
  • 00 noon to 12.45pm Mini Ring within St Mary’s Church
  • 45pm take down the Mini Ring, anyone can help in some form or another if they wish

Lunch 1.00pm – Pack lunch in the Minster or around town

Re-Group at Beverley Minster 1.45pm

  • Ringing at Beverley Minster from 2.00pm to 3.00pm
  • 00pm, roof walk at the Minster, you will be shown Great John which is 2.1m Diameter and over 7 tons, also you will get to see the largest surviving Treadwheel crane.

Finish at about 4.00pm
